a).-Recuerda la diferencia entre countable and uncountable (Los que se pueden contar y los que no)
b) There is y There are son usados para decir : Hay.
-There is se usa para singular.: There is an apple.
-There is se usa para incontables con some y any (siempre):
There is some sugar. There isn´t any water. Is there any oil?Yes,there is. No ,there isn´t.
(Los incontables siempre van en singular y con some o any)
There are se usa para plural con contables .There are some apples (Uso some o any cuando no digo el número exacto)
There aren´t any plums. Are there any bottles of water?
Yes,there are.No,there aren´t.
Estad muy atentos a ver qué tipo de frase es : singular ,plural,contable plural,incontables en singular...
Recordad que si me preguntan con is ..respondo con is.
Si me preguntan con are ..respondo con are.
